Rose-Mary (Rosy) Holosko, a member of IATSE 873 and 634, and Head of the Makeup Department on many productions filming in Toronto. 
Born and raised in Toronto, Rosy dreamt of being a Makeup Artist from an early age, and believes that the "Universe gets nothing wrong and you are right where you are supposed to be".  The universe certainly got it right with a chance meeting in the early 90's with Maureen Sweeney, a BBC Makeup Artist, that would lead to two years of training and internship. Rosy has managed to merge her passions for painting, esthetics, and makeup to create a successful career in the film business for over 30 years.   
Rosy brings a vibrant enthusiasm and innate professionalism to every project she takes on, and production companies such as HBO, Netflix, Warner Brothers, NBC, Apple & Disney value the integrity and expertise she brings to every project. She collaborates closely with the writers, director, costume designer, actors and her makeup team on every project to design the specific looks for each character. Rosy was Head of the Makeup Department on the following:  TOKYO VICE (s2-Toronto unit), GLAMOROUS, GOTHAM KNIGHTS (pilot), SEE (s2 &3), SUITS (S7,8 &9) TINY PRETTY THINGS, DARE ME (pilot), SPINNING OUT, JIGSAW, FLATLINERS AND SUICIDE SQUAD (2nd unit), and she has had the pleasure of working with some of the industry's finest talent including: Ansel Elgort, Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Ruby Rose, Katherine Heigl, Wendell Pierce, Gabriel Macht and Laurence Fishburne to name just a few.  
At the request of Hollywood North Productions, Rosy designed Hair and Makeup Trailers during the pandemic for them with improved functional design, safety and sanitation. Having served on the IATSE 873 makeup committee for 9 years, Rosy cultivated professional training and education in safety and set etiquette for makeup artists. Rosy loves her craft, mentoring others, and works tirelessly at mastering her craft.
